Our family stayed at the RV park, while my husband worked in the area. The staff was wonderful! We loved being able to use the pool (in April!) while the weather was hot. Hiking the peak behind the motel was fun and has a lot of history. We were even able to hike it with our 5 year old and it took little time. It has that small town charm and the price point is great! If we travel this area again we will most definitely stay here! Thank you for accommodating our family & adding to our memories made!
I really enjoyed my stay here. I was in town for work late at night, called and spoke with Tammy at four A.M. and she was able to book me and provide me with the code to access the room. The only challenge I had was knowing exactly where to park and finding the cabin
Highly recommend The Texas Ranger Motel. The place has an amazing pool, tons of well-kept outdoor space, a hiking trail, a community kitchen + bbq & smokers, and the best management / hosts you’ll find in the nearby area. Ms. D and her husband invited me in for dinners & breakfast while their family was visiting them, and she even helped me with laundry when I was working 12-hr days. Rooms are super cool w/ real sheets, towels, furnishings & decor. I stayed for 2.5 weeks, and I’ll stay here again. Great spot.
Love love loved this place. Tammy and Elizabeth were excellent hosts. The history of this place is incredible,a must stay place if ever in this area. We got a cabin which was clean and comfortable with some history of Texas Rangers on the walls. The lodge itself was built for Retired Texas Rangers. It also has a pool and RV area which are very well kept. Sitting on the front porch of the lodge was so relaxing in the evening. I wish I had longer to stay. I will be back again!
This place was fantastic! Gave me 1970s motel vibes - in a Good way! Great location right by a beautiful bluff, which you can climb! Great service, friendly staff! Would definitely stay again!
Great place. The check in was unreal easy. The room smelled amazing, looked amazing and was everything we needed after a long day of driving. I'm very impressed and will always stay here when I'm out this way.
a very pleasant stay experience, we were traveling to austin and we found this place to stay and it was very lucky for us because we were very tired and we checked in around 2 am, but in the morning around 8 am our door was knocked by the carpet cleaner (not hotel staff) they said "you have to leave in the next 20 minutes" I was very shocked whether this had to be done now that's what I thought. after that the hotel staff kindly came to us that we didn't have to leave and they apologized for this inconvenience the hotel staff was very kind and they gave us a special discount. I really liked staying at this hotel and I'm sure I will definitely come back Love you texas Ranger hotel
We were looking for a quiet area to relax and enjoy a little fishing nearby. This motel was the perfect place. Clean rooms, quiet location, and the lady, who I believe ran the place, was super friendly. The fishing at the state park was only 10 miles away. Will definitely return again.
